Passing or Dribbling Drills
Option 1: Gate passing. With a partner make a gate about 1.5 yards wide and stand 8-10 yards away. Work all types of passes and traps between the gate, focusing on your touch, weight of your touch, and the weight of the pass. Challenge your partner with the passes.
Option 2: First touch, mental challenge. With a partner, 2 training sticks, and 2 cones of different colors, do this activity: YouTube Video
Option 3: Short, short, long with communication.
Round 1: Start with a 4-person short, short, long.
Round 2: Then transition into the 3rd person staying in the middle the whole time and the 4th person is the permanent defender.
First round the defender either applies pressure (the passer should call drop) or does not apply pressure (the passer should call turn). Go so each person gets a rep in the middle.
Round 3. The second round the defender can now pressure and cheat to a side. The passer needs to focus on the location of the pass if yelling turn. A drop pass should be called if the defender is tight on the back, not pressuring a side or dropped. Go until everyone gets a rep in the middle.
Option 4: Dribbling obstacle course.
Option 5: 2 and 3-person passing drills: With partner(s) and the semicircle training material follow along: YouTube Video
